Yesterday afternoon the 'Varsity crew started on a four-mile time row. The start was made from Craigie bridge, rowing up stream against the wind and with the tide. The College crew acted as pacemaker at the start, but the 'Varsity boat immediately jumped ahead and gained steadily. The College crew stopped rowing after going a mile, and the 'Varsity continued alone.
