A man identified as Abbas, but referring to himself by the nom de guerre Abu Khaled, could be heard talking of "our objective" to the hijackers aboard the Achille Lauro. ...also a problem with Jagged Edge as a whole. Not only does it abound with stylized, stock characters, but with a profusion of pointed, heavily emphasized pauses and gratingly poignant moments when the characters exchange glances. But whatever the reason, this lack of artistic daring makes the film often static and heavy-handed where it could be spontaneously dramatic...
