Saturday morning, December 22, was a busy time for the members of the Glee and Banjo clubs. After early breakfasts in Cambridge, the members met at the Boston and Albany station a few minutes before nine o'clock ready to begin their journey westward. The weather was clear and bracing, and the spirits of the men were high in anticipation of a glorious time as well as of a successful series of concerts...

...hounds. The hares were H. A. Davis, '91 and Priest, '91. They laid a good scent through Norten's Woods, Somerville, over the Long Bridge to Malden, then through Medford and Tufts College and home by way of North avenue. They left the bags at Portor's Station. The run was about ten miles long...
There were fifteen hounds at the start, all of whom kept up to the break. The race in from Porter's Station was very close and was won by Gorham, '90, with Davenport, '90, second. The hares reached the gymnasium at 4.42. The hounds were eight minutes behind thus losing only one minute actual time. The trail was so straight and plain that they had no difficulty in keeping up a steady pace. As the hounds won, cups will be given to Gorham and Davenport...
