Kavita Kacholia '98 and Jennifer P. Stevens '98 were elected co-presidents of the Radcliffe Union of Students (RUS) last night. They pledged to foster more interaction with other campus student groups.
The theme of the conference--women's leadership--was the over-whelming choice of the membership of RUS, said Jennifer T. Stevens '98, a co-chair of the steering committee.
"We had a diverse group of women that showed up, all with an interest in the topic," Stevens said. "It was a tremendous success."
Fifty-five students pre-registered for the Expo, including about five men, Stevens said. The event is open to the public and organizers expect a crowd close to 100.
