...Richard Bame, another suitor. Marlowe, in the meanwhile, has been proven an "atheist" and "blasphemer" through the efforts of the lady of the Court, who, by this time, had tired of the playwright's admiration, and he is debarred from the Queen's players. Broken in fortune, but steadfast still in those beliefs which had gained for him the title of "atheist," Marlowe visits Alison. In a powerful scene he admits to the girl his love for her and finds relief from his despair in her purity and nobility. In the last act Bame, Alison's rejected suitor, believing that...

Since the first game with Yale last Saturday, which was lost by inability to bat; the Freshmen have been given hard practice and have shown marked improvement in hitting. The infield, although still somewhat erratic, has steadied its play considerably. Last Wednesday the Yale freshmen won their second victory over the Princeton freshmen by the score of 5 to 4. Yale's victory was due to timely hitting and to a few brilliant plays, rather than to steady good playing. ...chief weakness of the Freshman team is its weak hitting and careless base-running. A steady improvement has been shown in fielding, although it is still somewhat erratic. The team will be severely crippled by the loss of Lovering, the catcher, who had a finger split open in the game with Milton Academy last Wednesday. Last Saturday afternoon the Yale freshmen defeated the Princeton freshmen in a 10-inning game by the score of 8 to 7. The Brown freshmen, who defeated the Freshmen last Monday by the score of 7 to 4 have been defeated by the Yale freshmen...
