After the usual preliminary work in passing and shooting, in which the forwards of the first team practiced shooting goals against the defense, a forty minute line-up between the first and second teams was held. The play was a slight improvement, over any thus far, but was still very loose. The points were weak both in passing and lifting the puck, and their body checking was poor. In individual playing, Wilder and Townsend did the most accurate shooting and Callaway, the best body checking. The game resulted in a score of 6 goals to 0 in favor...

...first of two informal contests in high jumping, which have been arranged by the track team, will be held this afternoon in the Gymnasium at 3.30 o'clock. There is still a great need of men in the high jump and it is hoped that these contests will bring out candidates for the event. A first, second and possibly a third prize will be given and all members of the University may enter who have never won a prize in the University, who have never competed in the dual or intercollegiate games and who are eligible for the track team...
