Unloading at the Right Time. In June, McDonnell gave notice that it had sold its Douglas common during the first quarter of 1966, around the time that it reached its peak of 112, reaped a net profit of $2,600,000. But by last week, after the stock had nosedived to 30, then looped back up past 40, sources close to both companies estimated that Mr. Mac and closely associated "interests" had between them amassed 800,000 Douglas shares out of 5,200,000 outstanding.
