Even its most zealous partisans are forced to admit that the Freshman class has not been eminently successful this year in their athletic career. One important contributory cause has been the omission of training tables for the members of the various teams. Experience has demonstrated the value of strict dietary supervision, with definite modifications for the different sports. The Freshman race with Cornell this year showed clearly enough that proper feeding is a necessary part of proper training.
