These service trips offer Harvard students a unique opportunity to assist and explore communities that are not full of the many advantages that we often take for granted in Cambridge. Though we, as college students, have our own struggles to deal with as we strive to understand ourselves and our growing responsibilities as young adults, we are still in a very privileged environment. The trips that these students will be taking offer a valuable service to the target communities and will also provide an enriching addition to the students’ educational experience if they approach the trips with...
While the College’s adjustment may seem to be trivial and insignificant, at least purely based on numbers, it represents a troubling shift in philosophy. Harvard has been, and should always strive to be, a place where meritocracy is the heuristic of choice. The methodology of measuring HMC?...

Under the current proposal, thirty acres of open space will be constructed on asphalt-covered land, and planners will strive for lower energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission. Furthermore, Allston streets will be bolstered with bike lanes and pedestrian walkways...
...Besides, if we can figure out a way to couple a bit of social commentary with a common (if slightly waning) pastime for American kids, that’s all the better. It’s the same way we strive to create edutainment video games and emulate Blue’s Clues on TV. The difference is that Captain America is way cooler than talking religious vegetables or that weird Steve guy on Nickelodeon...
