The old stroke, who has served the class so faithfully in three races, will be unable to row this year on account of ill health, and his loss is a serious calamity to the crew. ...Senior class crew, after several meetings, finds no captain of its choice who is willing, under the circumstances, to take the office. Although the crew suffer greatly in the loss of stroke oarsman, the real difficulty at present lies in the unwillingness of several members to row again this year. ...juniors rowed yesterday as follows: Stroke, Bryant (capt.); 7, Bliss; 6, Goodwin; 5, Bacon; 4, Burr; 3, Agassiz; 2, Walker; bow, Kendall. Of these Bryant and Bliss rowed freshman and sophomore years, Goodwin freshman year, Bacon, Agassiz and Walker last year, while Burr and Kendall are new men. Hutchinson of last year's crew is trying for the 'Varsity, while LeMoyne, who rowed freshman year, will probably take a place in the class boat later in the year...
