...first-generation immigrant to the U.S. who proudly serves in the military, I have obtained several degrees (soon to include the Ph.D. I am currently working on) from several institutions. Though these academic centers may not be in the Top 10 in the nation, they have allowed me to succeed and placed me competitively alongside many of my colleagues.
