A crowd of several thousand students and graduates gathered at the knoll behind the President's House, and roused as much enthusiasm as could be desired. W. A. M. Burden '00 led the cheering, which was given with a will. Dr. Nichols, head coach of the nine, made a short speech, saying that he had great confidence in the team, and gave some suggestions about the cheering today. ...fiscal year ending July 1 is approximately as follows: Book department, 9 per cent.; stationery, 25 per cent.; men's furnishings, 63 per cent.; tailoring, 61 per cent.; Medical School branch, 12 per cent.; furniture, 137 per cent.
