The Christian Association held its annual reception last night in Holden Chapel. There was a large attendance and the reception was very successful and pleasant. During the evening Professor Thayer, Dr. McPherson, Dr. MacKenzie and Professor Peabody addressed the association.
The game was characterized by frequent fumbling, which, in the second half, gained considerable ground for Yale. Orange was not so successful in kicking, and two of Yale's touchdowns were almost directly due to blocked kicks. On the whole, Yale much excelled Orange in the work of her backs...
A new play that attracted much attention because it was uniformly successful, was having Haughton rush the ball. He seldom failed to gain his distance through the line. Cabot only played the first half, making many good plays while he was in the game.
The second trial of candidates for the Freshman Glee Club will be held this evening in Lower Dane at 7 o'clock. The list of successful candidates will be published in to-morrow morning's issue of the CRIMSON.
