Langdon Clay has been the majustay of the hurling brigade but Harper has not given all his pitchers a chance yet. Clay twirled a four-hit shutout against suffolk Saturday and hit at a three for four clip at the plate. He pitched for the Jayvees last year and may get a crack at Varsity competition this season, although he will most likely be brought up to the Varsity next season.
