Captain Frothingham had the men bat in a new order, and it worked fairly well. Abbott kept up his fine batting, making three pretty singles. Trafford found the ball again with good effect, and Hallowell got in a long home run drive. Abbott took Sullivan's place at short, but his strong point is not in handling ground balls. The other error on Harvard's score was made by Hallowell, but in justice to him it ought to be said that any ordinary fielder would have made no attempt to catch the fly.
