...suggestion was made in one of the daily papers last summer, that to study these currents and use them was a great science, and whichever crew used head-work enough to avail itself of them ought to have the benefit. ...Saturday, resulted in an unexpected victory of 24 to 14, for '77. The game last Saturday resulted in another Freshman victory of 16 to 4. The Freshmen naturally feel quite proud of their Nine, which certainly contains some very good material, and, with proper training, may distinguish itself next summer.
