When track started last fall, W. J. Bingham '16 was appointed supervisor, with instructions to straighten out affairs. He found that there was little enthusiasm for track in the University, and decided that he could work better as head coach than as supervisor. Accordingly, upon the resignation of Mr. Donovan on February 10, he was made head coach with full authority.
