Unfortunately, there are no scientific studies to guide us. Nor can we expect advice from the Food and Drug Administration. As a nutritional dietary supplement, creatine remains beyond the FDA's regulatory reach. I recommend you avoid creatine entirely. At the very least, users should not exceed dosages recommended by its manufacturers...
