...team made short speeches, and today just before the Brown game a mass meeting which was attended by about a thousand students was held in the dormitory quadrangle, at which speeches were made by alumni and undergraduates, and resolutions drawn up pledging to the team the loyal support and confidence of the student body. The cheering at the Brown game this afternoon was probably the best ever heard on Franklin field.
