...successfully defended their title of University champions in doubles yesterday by defeating S. H. Derby 2 L. and R. A. Bidwell 2L. in three straight sets 6-3, 6-1, 6-4. From the first Whitman and Marvin were the leaders. They were steady throughout and played a swift game; their lobbing especially was very accurate and won many points for them.
