Died. Hans Richter, 87, painter, film maker and one of the originators of the Dada movement in art; in Locarno, Switzerland. While many of Richter's revolutionary friends, such as Painters Max Ernst and Marcel Du-champ and Sculptor Hans Arp settled into more traditional art forms, Richter gave up his easel for Dadaist and Surrealist film making.
