Month ago Pittsburgh newspaper publishers flew into a swivet because Kaufmann's department store, biggest in town, began to broadcast news over the radio (TIME, Jan. 28). The newspapers, Hearst's Sun-Telegraph, Paul Block's Post-Gazette, Scripps-Howard's Press, were prevented from doing so by the year-old Press-Radio "truce."
