At least that's how his slick marketing machine bills him, along with the trademarked moniker, the Painter of Light. Kinkade is also the leading "lifestyle brand" of Media Arts Group, Inc. (MAGI), which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. With nearly $140 million in sales and profits of $14.2 million last year, it claims to be the largest art publisher in the world.
