What is a "directional sign"? The House Public Works Committee defines it so broadly that almost every extant billboard could qualify: SLEEPY TIME, MOTEL, 12 MILES, for example, or SUPER GAS, NEXT RIGHT, Or STRAIGHT AHEAD FOR MAPLE SYRUP.
