...singles yesterday Snow beat W. Kinsley, 5-6, 6-4, 6-3; and Shaw beat Tailer, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1. The match between Shaw and Tailer was an exhibition of very strong tennis. The result of the final doubles was a great surprise. Lee and Tallant beat Sears and Shaw three straight sets, 6-4, 8-6, 7-5.
