BOSTON: Kenyan Moses Tanui won the 100th Boston Marathon with a time of 2:09:16. His upset of countryman and three-time defending champion Cosmas Ndeti gave Kenya its sixth consecutive victory. Germany's Uta Pippig followed 18 minutes and 12 seconds later with a time of 2:27:12 for her third consecutive win in the women's division.
