During the last couple of summer Olympics in Sydney and Athens, American viewers never tired of complaining of being forced to watch major prime-time events on tape delay; knowing the swimming or track-and- field competition had actually taken place 6 or 12 hours before, with the results widely reported over the Internet and on TV, sucked quite a bit of the excitement out of the experience. Now NBC wants some major events at the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing rescheduled so they'll air in prime time in the U.S. - and it's viewers in Europe and Asia...

One gentleman who came forward to playact a Q&A on the war in Iraq was asked if the recent capture and killing of terrorist al-Zarqawi showed that the Bush war was, in fact, working. Reviewing the tape afterwards, one of the workshop leaders complimented him on his quick recovery. ...most interesting thing about Coulter is still the way people respond to her. There's a scene in a documentary about Coulter in which a young woman, sputtering with rage, gets in Coulter's face and shouts an obscenity with such force it was chilling, even on tape. Anyone who can inspire that kind of passion is surely worth writing about again...
