...Saturday afternoon the Freshman nine defeated the Pomfret School team in a 9 inning game by the large score of 35 to 1. Although the game was played on the school grounds, the home team showed a total lack of confidence and the large number of runs made by the Freshmen was due in great part to the errors made by the school team.
