When the University football team gathers for a meeting in the Varsity Club today at 5.30 o'clock it will mean that plans are being seriously discussed for the trip to the West during the Christmas vacation. Coach Fisher will outline the work necessary to fulfill the obligations of such a trip and the details of practice, which will probably commence within the next few days in some place selected by the football management...

Although this reduction in the number of players would largely do away with the system of team play that has been fostered by Alfred Winsor '02, it would add much to the chances for individual brilliancy. In Canada the six-man game has been adopted by almost all of the leading teams, and this will undoubtedly have its influence on the proposed change here...

Daily practice starts immediately under C. E. Fraser, a member of the team of 1917 which unanimously defeated Yale. Fraser will be assisted by several former debaters who have volunteered to help shape the team.
