Next year's team will be greatly handicapped by the loss of Ford, Willetts and Washburn, who made undoubtedly the strongest and best-developed defense that Harvard has ever had. It will be necessary to develop practically new material for these positions. ...ninth inter-university cable chess match between Harvard, Princeton, Pennsylvania, and Columbia on one side, and Oxford and Cambridge Universities on the other will be played tomorrow from Alexander Hall, Princeton.
