Although the opposing team is very strong. Harvard should win by a close margin. Dartmouth was unable to do more than hold Williams to a tie game, while the University team had little difficulty in winning 10 to 0, the short time of the halves alone preventing a larger score. The Harvard line-up will be the same as against Carlisle last Saturday. Kennard will start the game at fullback, but it is probable that Ver Wiebe will be put in later. Princeton was defeated at New York last Saturday, by the score of 10 to 6, Dartmouth being undoubtedly the superior of the two elevens. Coach Waterbury, of the Freshman team, expressed his appreciation of the work the team has done and said that, if Yale wins, it will be because or a better team and not of harder work. Captain Gaddis spoke of the parade yesterday afternoon and especially of the excellent treatment which the team has received from all concerned in its development. Everything has progressed without a hitch and throughout the season there has been perfect co-operation between team and coaches. The Yale freshmen outweigh Harvard, but speed and snap ought to overcome this disadvantage...
...secret practice for the University football team yesterday afternoon was short and fast. In the signal practice the substitutes were lined up against the first team to work out the formations better, but there was no scrimmaging. All the men were out, including Browne, Corbett, and Hoar, who were laid off Wednesday and the team seemed in good shape. Kennard started the signal practice at fullback, Ver Wiebe substituting him later. Kennard is a fairly good punter, and on this account is at present first choice for his position. Ver Wiebe, however, carries the ball better, and forms good interference...
