...University football team had only light practice yesterday afternoon and after a 30-minute secret session the men on the first eleven were dismissed. The University substitutes had a scrimmage with the second team, in which they scored one touchdown. In the secret practice Gray and Sprague punted and the ends had the usual practice of running down under the kicks. Then the team was put on the field to receive kick-offs and started from this formation several times.
