...Freshman football team plays Groton tomorrow, and had a stiff try-out against the University team Wednesday, yesterday's practice was of a light order only. For the first 15 minutes the entire squad of 66 men was drilled in tackling the dummy. The line men were then given practice in starting, and the backs were coached in punting, dodging, and catching punts. The ends worked at breaking through interference.
