Disney has even begun adults-only trips. No wonder. When we arrived in Europe and met 20 other family travelers, I did have a moment of terror imagining being trapped with this many children on a bus. But our group soon bonded by way of carriage rides, strudel-making lessons, fencing demonstrations and castle tours. As the junior passengers rolled their eyes at us, we adults were busy on the bus enjoying sing-alongs of Disney tunes. It was our inner children we were really taking on vacation--the kids were simply along for the ride...
...Part of the price for that new reality, many in India believe, is a downgrading of their own concerns. Singh's U.S. visit coincided with the anniversary of last year's Mumbai terror attacks, which were orchestrated by Pakistan-based groups traditionally associated with Pakistan's military intelligence organization, the ISI. Obama and his envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke, have urged India to make concessions on the decades-old Kashmir dispute in order to help Washington's efforts to get Pakistan to finally deal with the Taliban. But he mentioned al-Qaeda only once...

In the last few months alone, we have apprehended extremists within our borders who were sent here from the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan to commit new acts of terror. This danger will only grow if the region slides backwards and al-Qaeda can operate with impunity. We must keep the pressure on al-Qaeda, and to do that, we must increase the stability and capacity of our partners in the region...
...matter "being promptly sorted out." Tehran took a different tone. "Naturally our measures will be hard and serious," Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaie, chief of staff to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, told the semiofficial Fars news agency on Tuesday, "if we find out [the sailors] had evil intentions."
