...diplomatic politeness makes it non-U to refer to these countries as "backward" or even "underdeveloped." To close the word gap U.N. delegates have developed a dictionary of discretion. Into New York State Supreme Court charged agents of the State Rent Com mission to settle a spat involving a long-clawed cat. The cat belongs to Acting U.N.
