Clarkson pitched a strong, consistent game, striking out thirteen men and allowing only three hits. J. D. Clark threw to bases well and fielded his position in good style. The Harvard infield did surprisingly good work and held its own with the strong Yale infield. The outfield, however, was weak, and, with the exception of Van Amringe, was outplayed by Yale.
