Because of the holiday yesterday, there was no practice for the candidates for the University baseball team. Monday's work-out consisted of a little pitching and some turning to throw to bases. Though the squad was considerably strengthened by E. W. Mahan '16 and R. Harte '17, who reported for the first time, very few candidates have come out. Therefore, Coach Mitchell has issued another call for candidates. Pitchers from the classes of 1917 and 1918 are especially needed.
