There are several very interesting books on religion and theology just published. "The Religious Thought of the Greeks from Homer to the Triumph of Christianity" takes up the history of Greek religious ideas. The book, by Clifford Herschel Moore '89, Professor of Latin, deals primarily with the genetic development of the higher phases of religion, and discusses also ancient morality, Roman religion, Oriental cults, and early Christianity.
