William C. Dole, known to Yale men throughout the country as "Prof.," died yesterday, aged 65. He had been an athlete and trainer for nearly 40 years, the last fifteen of which had been spent at New Haven, during which time he had trained many of Yale's noted athletes and cared for many of her class and university crews.
