...Freshman lacrosse team won the opening game of its season against Brooklyn Polytechnical Preparatory School, on Soldiers Field, on Saturday afternoon, by a score of 3 to 1. Throughout the game the ball was kept well in the opponents' territory and although the stick work of the Freshmen was crude their checking was hard and effective.
