...adopted in infancy by Nicholas and Frances Bianchi of Rochester, N.Y. Nicholas, who was a welder, died when Kenneth was 14. Throughout his childhood, Kenneth often suffered from amnesia, which Watkins says is a symptom of dissociative reaction, the medical term for dual personality. Bianchi had frequent nightmares of being in a dark room with a strange presence, perhaps an awareness of the second personality, and severe migraine headaches. Says Watkins: "Headaches often occur when the personality underneath is trying to get out and the one on top is trying to maintain control. The battle is experienced as a severe...

Heskett says, "I would hate to see a siege mentality develop--right now the only thing we're besieged with is applications." No one--least of all Bok, who praises the Business School throughout his report for its leadership in new fields--is laying siege to the idyllic lawns and halls across the river. Chad Balch, on drums, had perhaps the hardest act to follow. After all, Keith Moon will stay dead an awfully long time. He, and the rest...
...ABOVE and beyond the rest of the cast loomed Richard Westelman's Tommy. Throughout the first half of the show, when he is physically and sexually assaulted, Westelman retains catatonic self-control. In the second half he is the driving force of the show. "I'm Free" is a triumphant cry of joy. With that song too, Westelman begins the most difficult task before any actor in the show. Within ten minutes he jumps from total isolation to cult leadership. Without injecting more than the songs will bear, Westelman manages to convey Tommy's simple message: follow me and achieve...
