...much of the soundscape in this new album from Iceland's remarkably unique pop group. In the wake of their first experimental album Polydistortion, GusGus emerges more enchanting than before. Having already established a reputation for flair and soulful character, the band returns exploring new territory. Lyrical fantasies resonate throughout "Ladyshave," exuding lusty thoughts and twisted sexual melodies. Surging words about bleak promises and misplaced trust blacken ideas of foolish admiration in "Starlovers." "Love vs Hate" contains all of five words, but the pulsating dance music is stylish and sophisticated. This Is Normal has an added feature for wannabe deejays...
What makes this year's celebration unique is that, by participating in the festivities, we will be simultaneously commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Office for the Arts. In honor of this anniversary, there will be spotlight works of Harvard/Radcliffe alums presented throughout the weekend. Now-successful dancers, choregraphers and directors were invited back on campus earlier in the year to work with students. This weekend, their collaborative efforts will be showcased in gallery exhibits, in dance performances such as Choreographers' Ink's annual spring concert, and in theater productions such as King Kong, The Musical, Part I: Lohengrin...

Don't miss HRO as it joins the Collegium Musicum, the Glee Club, and the Radcliffe Choral Society in Verdi's Requiem. On Saturday, watch John Lithgow lead a parade down Mass. Ave., grab lunch at a Mexican Picnic outside the Science Center and spend the rest...
Shame on you Marty for trying to answer a year's worth of questions in just 53 minutes! Opening yourself up to questions (sort of) is fine, but frankly, once isn't enough. At no other point throughout the semester has Marty made himself easily accessible for students to ask him questions. He doesn't even hold office hours...
...Pounds of fertilizer, small mountains of earth, gallons upon gallons of water and absurd quantities of labor are channelled into Yard lawncare throughout the semester. But to what end? Why does Harvard choose to spend unknown sums of money compromising aesthetics and limiting student A-to-B point options? Seemingly, they do so to create a billion-bladed carpet of velvety green stretching from Widener to Memorial Church and away on all sides, realized just in time to be crushed irreparably by the thousands of bodies standing, sitting or milling excitedly about on it during the Class Day ceremonies...
