Yesterday's football work in the Stadium was mainly directed toward the strengthening of the University team's defence. Scrimmage with the second team lasted an hour, and resulted in a 7 to 7 tic. Such a score was largely due to the fact that the second team was given possession of the ball the greater part of the time, and the University thus given comparatively few chances for line-plunging. Considering this, and the fact that many of the coaches lined up with the second team at various times, the score does not indicate a poor showing...
