For Harvard, Phillips took three bases on Booth's wild throw, LeMoyne reached first on balls, and Tilden made a beautiful two-base hit, bringing in the first two runs for Harvard. ...five errors. They blanked Andover in every inning but the fifth, when Andover succeeded in earning two runs. The runs for Harvard were wade mostly in the third and fifth innings, when the men seemed to fathom Vinton's curves, and regular streaks of batting ensued. For Harvard, Tilden, LeMoyne, Baker and Coolidge, led at the bat, and Nichols, Coolidgeidge and Smith in fielding. Noyes batted well for Andover, and Stearns, Beckwith and Vinton led in the field. The pitching of Nichols was very steady and effective, ten men being struck out and but six hits being made...
