...Athletic meeting, and we again call the attention of all those who think of entering to the peculiar advantages offered this year. We see no reason why the entries should not be many, and the records better than ever before, as the date of the meeting has been postponed till after the Class Races, so that several who take part in them will be able to compete. The old club system tended to make the class feelings till less, and yet developed no club feeling to take its place. The class feeling is small enough nowadays at best.
