The details of the debate were arranged and much interest was felt in both clubs in regard to the result. ...former regulations of the faculty requiring "continuous residence at the University during term-time" has proved to be so easily infringed that it has been deemed best to make the rules on this point more stringent than ever before. Accordingly, the rules as changed now require that the student shall reside continuously at Cambridge, that notice must always be given for absences which will result in cuts, and that a student who is away longer than three days must always see the secretary at his return, to show that he is back and to explain the cause of his absence...
