...glee and banjo clubs some time ago asked permission of the committee of the faculty on entertainments for permission to make arrangements for a western tour during the Christmas recess. It was proposed to visit New York, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, St. Louis and Chicago. The committee declined to grant the requested permission except as to New York.
