Some 3,800 such applications were received, and, in order to accommodate the applicants, four rows of seats will be erected in the peristyle behind the boxes and one row on top of it running entirely around the Stadium. It is impossible for the Athletic Committee to state definitely that all men in this group will receive seats, but they are doing everything in their power to accommodate them.
