That remark was offensive and belittling toward those Afghan soldiers who in the past weeks have shed their blood in battle after battle in their homeland. Most of America's ground forces have seen relatively little action during that time, while the "not quite professional" Afghan troops have cleared out the Taliban and al-Qaeda.
