After the meeting a torchlight procession formed in front of the Union and marched to Soldiers Field, as it was found impossible to have the celebration on Holmes Field. A barge containing the members of the football team headed the line and after this the classes followed in order. At the field a bonfire had been built by the class of 1905, and around it the several classes gathered.
